Human-centred strategies and a crackle of energy for leaders who want to start, stop, prevent or change behaviours.

People are people and change is hard.

We don't always do what we're told. Sometimes we do the opposite, or nothing at all. We might raise our middle fingers when no one is looking. Or when they are.

I believe making change happen requires a humble, human-centred approach, one that asks questions rather than just suggesting answers.
I'm driven by a deep curiosity about why people do what they do, and I’ve spent my career applying behavioural science to unpick complex human problems.

  • Research, development and delivery of behavioural interventions employing the latest thinking from psychology and human-centred design.

  • 25 years experience of campaigns and message development aligned with bigger-picture goals.

  • Strategic counsel for leaders of agencies, technology companies and non-profit organisations in the UK and Europe.

  • Adoption is easy; integration is hard. I’m helping organisations to move beyond experimentation by embedding AI safely and intelligently into workflows.

  • I speak at conferences and team days on behaviour change and strategic communications. I also design and facilitate workshops to drill in to specific challenges.

  • I’m a member of the International Social Marketing Association and founder of the Hanhart Group - an international alliance of the world’s leading behaviour change agencies.

I previously founded one of the UK’s leading behaviour change communications agencies. Now I work independently with clients in the UK and Europe.

I’m helping clients understand and apply AI in their businesses and thinking about how it can be used to drive efficiencies, unlock innovation and increase impact.

I regularly speak at conferences and events on behaviour change and strategic communications.

In August 2023 I moved with my family to Cascais near Lisbon.
